Not only does the center allow you to hike and explore the wildlife, but it also teaches you about everything surrounding you. Schuylkill River Trail

Possibly Pennsylvania’s most famous hiking trail is the Schuylkill River Trail. This magnificent trail stretches 120 miles through Frackville in Schuylkill County, through Montgomery, Chester and Berks Counties to Philadelphia. This urban trail is built over abandoned railroad lines featuring over 75 miles of paved and crushed stone. On your hike, you will witness the evidence of several centuries of industrial development, canal navigation, and the production of iron and steel. It is a trail rich in industrial history and incredible scenic views.
