The Mid-Atlantic Air Museum is a wonderful aviation museum as well as a facility for the restoration of antique aircraft. 

The museum was founded by Russ Strine and was created to ensure the professional stewardship of a collection for the public to understand and appreciate the history of aviation. When visiting the unique aviation museum, you will find incredible collections and restorations of historic planes, airliners, and rare military and civilian aircraft. Not only can visitors explore the museum’s fully restored and functional historical aircraft, but they can also see them in action during various airshows.

The Mid-Atlantic Air Museum is widely known for its annual “World War II Weekend Air Show.” During this exciting event, visitors get the chance to ride in the museum’s vintage North American SNJ, every second Saturday, from May through October. 

Besides their famous annual event, the museum also has public programs to encourage participation through entertainment such as educational exhibits, lectures, tour guides, demonstrations, and special events all year round.
